Enrollment

Before You Apply:

  1. City Neighbors Charter School is a Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Baltimore City Public School.

  2. Families must provide proof of Baltimore City residence.

  3. We strongly recommend that interested families attend an open house/informational session and school tour before completing an enrollment form. These sessions will be held prior to the enrollment form deadline. In order to accommodate working families, both evening and daytime sessions will be made available.

  4. Due to the volume of interest, we are not able to accommodate individual informational sessions and school tours.

Age Requirements:

  1. Kindergarten applicants must be five-years-old by September 1st of the upcoming school year. 

  2. Early admissions would require assessment by BCPS office of Early Learning. For questions about early admission, please contact the school.

Upcoming Open House/Tour Schedule:

  1. Please Note: If school is closed due to inclement weather, the open house is canceled.

  2. If school opens late, the morning open house is canceled.

How to Apply:

  • Please complete and submit an application for each child you wish to enroll. Be sure to be complete, accurate and legible. 

  • Incomplete applications will not be processed. 

  • City Neighbors Charter School is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information.

  • In addition to this online form, applications can also be picked up from the school

Application Window:

  • Applications are accepted from October 1st–February 2nd at 3pm.

  • Applications received after February 2nd will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist and will not be included in the February lottery.  The date for the lottery will be shared with all applicants who have applied within the application window and will be held virtually.
